Quick Ravioli Lasagna

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 of a 25 oz. package frozen cheese-filled ravioli
  • 1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh basil leaves 1
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano leaves 1
  • 6 oz. Provoline cheese slices
1. Heat oven to 350. Apply cooking spray to ovenproof 12-inch skillet and add ground beef. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until browned (4-5 minutes). Remove beef from pan.

2. In same skillet place frozen ravioli; top with ground beef. Spoon sauce evenly over beef; sprinkle with basil and oregano. Reduce heat to medium. Cover; cook until ravioli are browned on bottom and heated through (7-8 minutes). Remove from heat.

3. Place cheese slices over ground beef mixture. Place skillet in oven. Bake for 4-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

4. Sprinkle with additional chopped basil and/or oregano leaves, if desired.


Note:

1 You can substitute 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning for the basil and oregano
